Compliance Officer

Main responsibilities
- KYC documents review
- Regular review of sample of customer support conversations from the compliance perspective
- Monitoring of local tax legislative changes and their impact on the firm
- Development and monitoring of a compliance program in relation to marketing companies engaged by the Company (external partners), review of external partners marketing activities, regular reports to Head of Compliance
- FATCA and CRS regimes obligations:Identification and documentation of clients (U.S. Tax Forms: W8, W9; CRS self-certifications) & Verification of withheld tax
- Assist, when necessary, with the counterparties request on KYC and due diligence of the Company
- Support, when necessary, by providing information during reviews of external regulators.
- To be fully responsible in all the compliance matters, ensuring compliance with the local law and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Economics / Finance
- Fluent Polish; advanced English, other languages considered a plus
- Understanding EU AML legislation
- Understanding of MiFID directive in relation to the provision of MiFID investment and ancillary services
- FATCA and CRS experience will be considered as a plus
- Soft skills in communication with the account managers regarding client documents’ assessment and requests for additional documents/information
