Your Impact:

Performing the function of the Commercial Settlement Expert for the Investor Supervision (Contract Engineer) Team in Jacobs in the scope of the project to provide support and technical consulting services in the preparation, implementation and operation and supervision over the implementation of Implementation Projects in the scope of the construction of the National Road Traffic Management System on the TEN-T network (KSZRD on the TEN-T network) carried out under the construction of the KSZR National System for Traffic Management, including:

  • Verifying and reviewing project financial and commercial documentation within the functional assumptions of the Project, relevant standards, technical knowledge and applicable law,
  • Attending and participating in meetings with the Overseeing Authority and the various Implementation Contractor(s) in Warsaw
  • Verification of the compliance of all invoices and associated financial and commercial documents (e.g. acceptance protocols, payment confirmation notes etc.) submitted for the works performed with the relevant contract and approved design documentation, building permit and legal regulations,
  • Verifying financial and commercial procedures are undertaken by all Parties to the contracts in accordance with the requirements of a project co-financed from EU funds, undertaken in Poland and in accordance with all Polish accounting procedures, best practices, laws and relevant standards
  • Cooperation with representatives of the Ordering Party and the contractor of construction works,
  • Monitoring the financial progress of works and their verification with the contractor(s),
  • Completing financial, investment and modernization documentation as well as formal and legal documentation during the implementation of the investment process,
  • Supporting of the Ordering Party and the Contract Engineer in the above scope in relation to the Other Implementation Projects
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the position of reviewing and approving financial settlements for the implementation of tasks co-financed from EU aid funds, confirmed by participation since July 2011 in at least one contract involving construction works with a value of at least PLN 20 million gross.
  • Engineering or Financial/Accounting qualifications.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel essential.
  • Must have recent knowledge of Polish accounting procedures, preferably relating to the implementation of infrastructure projects.
  • Must be fluent in Polish.
  • Ability to speak English beneficial.
