Department Overview
Motorola Solutions Finance Operation Service Center is a department of Motorola in Kraków which gives you an opportunity to participate in a setup of the new organization. The center is a part of our global network of Finance Operation Centers (FOC) which provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US, and Latin America region. Job Description
  • Provide support to the EMEA support services business to improve revenue, cash, margin forecasting and capture key financial information to enable transparency.
  • Participation and supporting inputs for quarterly / annual forecasting, budgeting and long range planning.
  • Preparing regular analysis for cost decomposition with multiple views (region, technology) and supporting correct alignment in line with expected margin.
  • Supporting month / quarter close cycles, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory / internal / SOX audit requirements.
  • Monthly revenue reporting with variance analysis and handling revenue queries from business.
  • Biweekly orders reporting and order adjustments.
  • Co-ordination with business for monthly headcount reporting.
  • Collaborating with business to ensure correct accounting for orders, revenues and costs bookings and forecasts.
  • Liaising with FPA and supporting CV / Budget cycles for providing CM inputs, data loading in Smartview and reconciliations.
  • Liaising with international and central / corporate finance teams for all analytics and submission of reports.
  • Aid process improvements for growing support services business and testing IT system improvements.
  • Approvals / release hold for contracts, orders and project setup in system with defined workflows.
  • Day to day operational queries / ad-hoc requests from business / finance relating to orders, contracts, revenues, costs and miscellaneous matters.
Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience performing various finance roles covering accounting and business / financial management.
  • Analysis of financial reports, trends, risk and opportunities and able to formulate solutions to problems.
  • Strong understanding of local accounting and US GAAP standards and knowledge of corporate and operating finance fundamentals.
  • Proficient in Excel with usage of advanced functions.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Oracle, Smartview is advantageous.
  • Gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short-to-long term financial forecasts.
  • Quick learner and analytical thinker, with the ability to manage and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong communicator and effective in working across functions and in matrix environments with the ability to simplify financial complexities for non-financial teams.
